Here is what actual clients of Room At The Inn have to say about our programs:

“I was asking the Lord what to do one night. And so I just opened the Bible and there was a little prayer card inside that said ‘Save these children that are in danger of abortion.’ And so after that, I started looking for help… My baby’s father wasn’t very supportive of my decision to keep my children… So it was good to have someone to talk to. Then when I found out I was having twins, I thought there was no way I could pursue finishing school. But this program has allowed me to do that.”

“When I found out I was pregnant, it was a very emotional time for me. I was 2 weeks away from heading to a new job in New York City. And for the first time in my life, abortion entered my mind… A friend said to me ‘God orders all things mightily.’ I knew right after she said that that this child was meant to be: to have a life. Room At The Inn was a wonderful experience for me… Through a counselor I decided to give my son up for adoption… And I thank God every day that I was able to see the joy I brought to two people by giving them something they thought they would never be able to have.”

"At the age of 26 I found myself pregnant and alone. By the grace of God, I found Room At The Inn. Before the birth of my baby, I learned how to be prepared for motherhood, by taking parenting classes, and learning how to care for my baby.   As a new mom, I am still adjusting to my role, but whenever I need guidance or help, the staff is always ready to lend a helping hand. The joys that my baby bring are as simple as seeing her smile or watching her sleep. I am currently pursuing job training at Central Piedmont Community College. My motivation to achieve my goals comes from my family telling me never to give up. Room At The Inn has helped me to stay focused by offering my baby and me a safe place. Room At The Inn is important to me because it gives me a chance to start my life over, and has shown me how to set and achieve my goals."

“On the day I had to leave my friend’s house and had nowhere to go except back to the homeless shelter with my 2 year old and the baby I carried; God answered my prayers and Room At The Inn called me. Not only did I have a safe and loving home for myself and my son, but I also had the safe delivery of my beautiful daughter. For this I will always be thankful to God.”
